Welcome to Floral Heights United Methodist Church

Floral Heights is known throughout the city of Wichita Falls as “the church with the golden dome” and as the church that is “always there” for people in need.  While it is the golden dome that makes the church building distinctive, it is the grace filled, energetic, spirit of the people and the hands on experience of God’s love that distinguishes the family and ministry of the church.

When a massive tornado devastated much of the city in 1979, Floral Heights was there to offer help, housing, and hope to hundreds of people. When people are hungry and need help with food, Floral Heights is there with a food pantry 3 days every week.  When parents need safe, Christian, after school care for their children, Floral Heights is there with Latch Key after school care.  When families that have children with special needs need support and love, Floral Heights is there to welcome them and offer parents time away.  It is this can do, hands on, attitude that outshines the gold on the dome and allows Floral Heights to be a beacon of God’s love to the neighborhood and community of Wichita Falls.
