Helping Hands at the Heights Respite Care for Special Needs Kids
Floral Heights is proud to be the first church in North Texas to offer this service to families with special needs children. Families with children who have special needs such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Behavioral Disorders, etc. Ages of children with special needs from 3 months through 14 years old. Ages of siblings 3 months through 12 years old. Families must apply and be inter-viewed by Helping Hands staff to determine if the program meets their needs.
Children with special needs will ex-perience a time of fellowship, creativity and recreation with loving, committed volunteers.
Siblings of children with special needs will also have the opportunity to experience a time of fun activities.
Parents of children with special needs may experience a time for much needed rest and recreation of their own.
1st and 3rd Friday Nights
6:00-10:00 p.m.
Sunday Mornings
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
