The PURPOSE of the Floral Heights United Methodist Church Latchkey Program is to provide a safe Christian atmosphere after school for the children of Alamo, Ben Franklin, Crockett, Sam Houston, and Brook Village. The PROGRAM includes homework help, arts & crafts, games, puzzles, jumpropes, reading room, computer games, 4-square, basketball, kickball, movie day, and more! We have a daily story time and bible verse following a healthy snack.

We are licensed, by the State of Texas, as a Day Care Center with a certified director and qualified aides. The staff is supplemented by trained volunteers from the church and the community. They volunteer for the program because of their love and concern for the children and families of our neighborhood.

We are open Monday through Friday, following the Elementary school schedule. We pick the children up from school and close at 6:00 p.m. We are closed when the schools are closed. Registration fee is $10 per child. The weekly fee is $28 for one child ($4 each additional child). For more information, please call the Latchkey office at 761-2226.
