What Is Confirmation?
1. Confirmation is a special time to learn about and experience what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
2. Beginning in August, every Sunday, sixth graders and their leaders meet during the 9:40 am Sunday school hour and discuss the Bible, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, worship traditions, the United Methodist Church, your Christian roots, and more.
3. Discover how to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ through participation in Sunday School, retreats, mission projects, field trips, worship experiences, and through the friendships you make during the year.
4. In April sixth graders will have the opportunity to join Floral Heights UMC as a full member
When Is Confirmation?
In 2009-10, Confirmation Class meets each Sunday morning at 9:40 am in the Hand bell Room on the 2nd floor, beginning on Kick-Off Sunday in late August.

April 16-17 Confirmation Retreat at Bridgeport with Mentors and Pastors (Meet at church at 5:00)
April 25 Confirmation Sunday (Rehearsal during Sunday School hour with breakfast)
